Mix all ingredients together thoroughly, or put all ingredients in 1 qt.

pound (3 medium) potatoes
slices bacon, diced
medium-size onion, diced
/2 cup vinegar
/2 cup stock or bouillon
tsp. salt
/4 tsp. pepper
tsp. sugar
egg yolk, beaten
Scrub potatoes; rinse. Boil in jackets; let cool. Peel and cut in
/4-inch slices. Cook bacon in hot pan until crisp. Add onion; stir

and cook until transparent. Add vinegar, stock or bouillon, and
seasonings. Stir; let come to a boil. Stir in egg; remove from heat
and pour over potatoes. Serves 2-4.

. Mix the above ingredients.
2. Take 1 1/2 to 2 lbs. of ground round and shape meat into round
patties, 3/4" thick and 3 1/2"round.

. Place in a covered container and pour the marinade mixture over them.
Cover tightly and refrigerate 12 hours or overnight.
Turn the patties frequently.
