Tomato and Basil Bruschetta

loaf of french bread, makes 24 pieces  
garlic cloves

cup basil  
lbs. seeded tomatoes, diced  
tbsp. olive oil

. Heat oven to 375°.

. Cut bread into 4 inch long pieces. Brush pieces of bread  
with olive oil. Toast in oven for about 10 minutes or until  
golden brown.

. After toasting, rub garlic on the toast. Mix remaining olive  
oil and tomatoes and basil in bowl. Add salt & pepper to taste.  
Top each piece of toast with about tsp. of mixture.

. Place on dish and serve.
