IDEAL APPLE CRISP

Apples (green pippin are best)  
Juice of 1 lemon

Tablespoons whole wheat flour  
/4 Cup raisins  
Apple juice  
TOPPING:

Cup rolled oats  
/3 Cup wheat germ  
/2 Cup whole wheat flour  
/2 Teaspoon salt  
Teaspoons cinnamon  
/2 Cup brown sugar  
/3 Cup canola oil

. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Slice apples until you  
have enough to fill a greased 9" x 13" baking dish.  
. Mix the apples in a bowl with lemon juice, cinnamon, flour  
and raisins.  
. Return them to the baking dish, adding enough apple  
juice to cover the bottom.

. Mix topping in a bowl and press on to top of apples.  
. Bake for 25 minutes, or until apples are soft.
