Mix flour, sugar, salt and baking soda. Cut in shortening with pastry
blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles fine crumbs. Place desired
amounts of mix in storage containers (plastic containers or jars or large
plastic bags). Seal tightly, label and refrigerate up to 10 weeks. To
measure, dip dry-ingredient measuring cup into cookie mix; level with
straight-edged spatula.
