slices bacon, cooked crisp, crumbled  
Mix all ingredients together. Place in refrigerator to cool or bake at 350 for 20 minutes  
until hot and bubbly.

Taco Salad  
Ingredients:

2 oz ground beef  
cups lettuce  
tsp. taco seasoning mix  
oz cheddar, shredded  
tbsp salsa  
tbsp sour cream  
Brown beef and stir in spices. Divide lettuce onto two plates. Top with half ground beef  
mixture, sprinkle with cheese, top with salsa and sour cream. Serves 2 @ 8 carb.  
Oriental Salad  
Note: Makes 6 servings . Total Carbohydrates: 38  
Fish sauce is the salty liquid condiment used extensively in Southeast Asian cooking.  
Well stocked grocery stores and Oriental supermarkets carry it, but you can use salt in  
its place.  
Ingredients:

/2 cup thinly sliced celery hearts  
green onions, cut in half lengthwise, then cut into 1-inch pieces  
6 sprigs cilantro, leaves only  
/2 cup fresh mint leaves  
medium tomato, cut in half and cut into very thin slices  
/2 cup thinly sliced English cucumber  
head Romaine lettuce, inner leaves only  
head butter lettuce, inner leaves only  
bunch watercress, large stems removed  
hard cooked eggs, whites and yolks separated  
Tbsp. vegetable oil  
Tbsp. minced garlic  
tsp. Splenda  
Tbsp. lemon Juice  
Tbsp. fish sauce  
Combine the celery, green onion, cilantro, mint, tomato, cucumber, lettuce and  
watercress. Thinly slice the egg whites and add to the mix.
